Getting Started

What is IELTS Simulator? +

IELTS Simulator is an online practice platform that recreates the computer-delivered IELTS test environment. You can sit full-length mock tests across all four modules - Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking - with the same on-screen layout, timing and question types used in the real exam, then receive AI-generated feedback on your performance.

Is this the official IELTS test? +

No. IELTS Simulator is an independent practice platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, or Cambridge University Press & Assessment. Results produced here are practice estimates and cannot be used as official IELTS scores or submitted to any institution.

Can I try the platform without creating an account? +

Yes. Choose Login as Guest on the login page to get a temporary session that lasts up to 18 hours and includes 5 starter credits. Guest sessions are meant for trying the platform: they expire automatically, and any test history is kept separate from a registered account. To keep your results long-term, create a normal account.

Taking Tests

Which modules can I practise? +

All four: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. Reading and Listening are auto-marked against an answer key. Writing and Speaking are assessed by AI against the four official IELTS criteria for each module.

What do I need to take a Speaking test? +

A working microphone and a reasonably quiet room. Your browser will ask for permission to record - you must allow it for the Speaking module to work. Your answers are uploaded for assessment, so a stable internet connection matters. Chrome or Edge on a laptop or desktop gives the most reliable recording experience.

What happens when the timer runs out? +

The test submits automatically, exactly as it would in the real exam. For Writing, whatever you have typed at that moment is submitted for evaluation, so there is no need to submit early to be safe.

Scores & Feedback

How are my Writing and Speaking scored? +

Writing and Speaking responses are assessed by Google Gemini against the four published IELTS band descriptors for each module - for Writing: Task Achievement, Coherence and Cohesion, Lexical Resource, and Grammatical Range and Accuracy. You receive a band estimate for each criterion along with written feedback explaining the reasoning.

How accurate are the AI band scores? +

Treat them as an informed estimate, not a prediction of your official result. AI assessment is useful for tracking progress and spotting recurring weaknesses across many attempts, but it is not a certified examiner and real IELTS scores are awarded by trained human examiners. Use the criterion-level feedback to guide what to work on rather than fixating on the overall number.

Is my test history saved? +

Yes. Every completed test on a registered account is stored in Test History with its date, module and score, so you can review past attempts and track progress over time. Tests taken in a temporary guest session are not carried over to a registered account.

Payments & Credits

How do credits and plans work? +

Tests are accessed either by spending credits from a credit pack or through an unlimited plan for a fixed period. Your current credit balance is shown in your dashboard, and each test lists what it costs before you begin.

Which payment methods are accepted? +

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay, which supports UPI, major credit and debit cards, net banking and popular wallets. Card details are handled by Razorpay and are never stored on our servers.

Can I get a refund? +

Refunds are handled according to our published policy - please read the Refund & Cancellation Policy for the conditions that apply. If you were charged in error or a payment failed but money left your account, contact us with the transaction details and we will investigate.
